Best Warranty* in AZ

We also have a warranty* that is unheard of in the Valley: 3 years or 36,000 miles. We understand how crazy that makes us sound, but we don’t care. We only care about providing quality work to each and every customer and each and every vehicle that comes in to our shop. Our work is a direct reflection of who we are, and we want that image to shine brighter than any other would-be competitor. That may be a challenge for us, but we are up to the task. We love a good challenge! And, when the work is complete, it will speak for itself. *12 months or 12,000 miles on manual transmission & clutch.

Our Transmission Warranty

Pro-Tech Transmissions backs every automatic transmission repair and rebuild with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, among the longest offered by any transmission shop in Arizona. Standard (manual) transmissions and transfer cases are covered under a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. Here’s exactly what that means for you. What’s Covered
  • Automatic transmission repairs and rebuilds: 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, covering parts and labor on the repaired or rebuilt components.
  • Standard (manual) transmission repairs and rebuilds: 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, also covering parts and labor.
  • Transfer case repairs: 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, also covering parts and labor.
Specific warranty terms for your repair are stated on your invoice at the time of service. What’s Not Covered The warranty does not cover:
  • Damage from accidents, collisions, or road hazards
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, racing, or towing beyond the vehicle’s rated capacity
  • Unauthorized modifications made after the repair
  • Failure to perform scheduled maintenance
How to File a Warranty Claim If you experience an issue with a repair or rebuild covered under warranty:
  1. Contact either our Phoenix or Glendale shop to describe the issue — you can return to whichever location is more convenient, regardless of where the original work was performed.
  2. Bring your vehicle in, along with your original invoice for the work performed, so we can confirm the repair is covered under warranty.
  3. If the issue is covered, we’ll repair it at no additional charge for parts or labor covered under the warranty terms.
Extended Warranties Extended warranty coverage and provider details are confirmed on a per-customer basis and stated on your invoice at time of service. Bring your extended warranty documentation with you at drop-off so we can confirm coverage before beginning any work. Why Our Warranty Is Longer Than Most Many Phoenix-area transmission shops either don’t offer a warranty at all, or cap coverage around 2 years/24,000 miles — well short of our 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on automatic transmission work. We back our rebuilds this long because the parts and labor practices behind them are built to last that long, not because the warranty is a marketing add-on.
